The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham

The Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham is gearing up for its first full farmers' market season.
GRAND OPENING: Saturday, July 7th from 8am to Noon.

The market will continue to run every Saturday through the end of growing season. In an effort to make the event an immense success the Virginia Grown Farmers' Market at the ODAC is partnering with several organizations for the opening.

Opening day will feature special events including:
v  lunch (hotdogs -10:45am),
v  a live radio broadcast,
v  a producer display competition, and more. Our display competition is offering up a $50 Southern States gift certificate to the best table display from our venders.

For those who have not visited the complex since its completion, the building will be open for the public to tour. The market at the ODAC is dedicated to the local agricultural community. It will feature fresh products produced locally within Pittsylvania, Henry, Franklin, Bedford, Campbell, & Halifax counties. Farmers' markets are great for vendors and customers providing a one-stop shop for customers to purchase the freshest ingredients for their families and for vendors to network and create ties to the community. Products at the market will include basic produce, meats, herbs, flowers, jams, honey, and specialty products such as charcoal.

New for this year, we will be allowing baked goods to be sold at the market. So take the time to come visit us on Route 29 South in Chatham to bring home farm fresh products, baked goods, & more for the entire family to enjoy. For up to date information please visit and "Like" us on Facebook by searching Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex. As new and exciting things happen at the complex we will continue to update the community.

No vendor fee is charged. If you would like to sell your products at the market, please call Fred Wydner at 434 432-7993 or email fred.wydner@pittgov.org for more information.
